Our Hot Air Balloon launch sites

We regularly fly from three distinct local areas

These are Area 1: Bristol, Bath and The Chew Valley, Area 2: Mendips and Somerset levels or Area 3: Taunton.

Within these areas we have a number of launch sites which will give you the best possible balloon ride over your local area. The launch sites are easy to find and are all listed below with links to detailed maps showing the exact location of the meeting point.

If you have booked for a group or have a premier flight, this can also be from one of our regular launch sites or from a site to suit the occasion, i.e. hotel lawn, wedding reception, local farmer's field or even your own back garden if it's big enough!

Area 1: Bristol, Bath & Chew Valley

Bristol: Ashton Court, a magnificent public park on the South West outskirts of the city. map
Keynsham: The Rugby Club just off the Hicks Gate roundabout. map
Bath, Globe Roundabout: Bath launch site just on the western outskirts of the city. map
Chew Valley: Manor Farm - a private site on the southern shore of Chew Valley Lake. map
Churchill: Langford Common, adjacent to the Chew Valley. map

Area 2: Mendips and Somerset Levels

Cheddar: Cheddar rugby club tucked under the Southern slopes of the Mendip Hills. map
Wedmore: School playing fields just west of this pretty Somerset village. map
Wells: A private field just on the western outskirts of this cathedral city. Field map

Area 3: Taunton

Taunton: Hamilton Gault Park on the eastern edge of town. map
